4. Class time and computer time made available so that groups can discuss and plan
5. HW: includes any lesson aids that have to be worked on outside of class

1. Textbook Ch. 1/Sect. 1 review (pg. 82-86/86-89)

Day 3
1.  Textbook Ch 1/Sect 1 review cont.
2.  Three short videos on the manufacturing of cotton, linen, silk and wool
3.  Highlight main idea and details for Ch 1/Sect 2 Features of a Civilization (pg. 93-97)

Day 4
1. Textbook Ch 1/Sect 2 The Rise of Civilization highlight main idea/details
2.  Flow chart (finish in class)
3.  Review Features of a Civilization
4.  Venn Diagram on cloth (finish in class)
5. HW: Venn diagram if not done in class. REVIEW main ideas and detail that you have highlighted.
    You are reviewing daily for a test that will cover Ch 1....date to be announced, but expect to take it
     next week, Day 3 or 4.

World History/Week of Nov. 13-17

Day 1(30 min. class)
1. Ch. 2 Beginning of Civilization: Began reading, discussing and highlighting Sect. 1
    (pgs. 82-83)
2.  HW: None because we are doing the work and review in class

Day 2
1.  Ch. 2/Sect. 1 (pgs. 84-89) continue reading, and highlighting. We will discuss facts in
     class.
2.  Take Notes/Word Wise handout. Work on Take Notes pg.37 (cause and effect concept web)
     in class.
3. HW: Finish pg. 37 of handout if not done

Day 3
1. Ch. 2/Sect. 1 Take Notes/Word Wise handout.  Work on Word Wise pg. 36.  Due at the end of class
    or at the beginning of Day 4.
2. Make sure all your highlighting is done for pgs. 82-89.
HW: Finish pg. 36 of handout if not done.

Day 4
1. Ch. 2/Sect. 1 Take Notes/Word Wise handout.  Go over the process of how to answer question
     number 1.
2.  Venn Diagram for New Clothes  (text. pg. 88)

Day 1 (30 min. class)
1.  Worked on comp book notes/lesson review for Your Skeletal and Muscular Systems Lesson 1 
      (pgs. 4-9)
2.  Comp notes and the lesson review are DUE Tuesday Nov. 14 at the beginning of class.
3.  Lesson 1 QUIZ: over the skeletal/muscular system diagrams  (pg. 5, 7) and over the reading will
     be on Thurs. Nov. 17

Day 2
1. Watch a video on the Skeletal/Muscular System
2.  Begin work on the review handouts over this lesson

Day 3
1. Continue working on the review handouts.
2. Correct in class and turn in.
3.  Review for quiz on Th (use your book)

Day 4
1. Take the quiz over the Skeletal and Muscular System
2. Make sure I have your comp book

Day 2: Review Ch.1/Lesson pgs. 4-5.  Discuss main points.  Comp. book: write notes. Glue graphics

Day 3: Comp book: notes for pgs. 4-5 due.  Discussed Lesson 1 Muscular System.  Assigned reading, comp book notes, and review pgs. 6-9.  Due at the end of Tuesdayclass (comp books will be picked up) QUIZ over the skeletal and muscular system diagrams (pg. 5, 7) will be on Th. Nov. 16. QUIZ over Lesson 1 reading material will be on Th. Nov. 16.
